I think we can all agree that the stigma surrounding psychiatric care would vanish completely if all therapy sessions went like this:

Troubled youth? Check.

Sweater vest-wearing shrink? Check.

Clipboard/notepad for taking notes during the session? Check.

Phat beats, strobe lights, a cheering crowd and two guys arguing through dance? One great big magnificent check.

Watch the video again. I’m going to call our CEO and see about getting some big speakers and a disco ball installed in our group therapy rooms.

Your post was so fantastic that I borrowed the video for our blog: http://www.wellspring.org/blog.

Our facebook fans LOVED the video and it brought about lots of discussion among our clinical and administrative teams. Looking forward to your future blog posts!

Attention CEO:

Choreography can organize disordered emotions and events into symbolic cathartic presentations. It permits the exercise of the body, rejuvenation of the spirit and soothing of the mind.

Or, simply: Dance. The Anti-Insanity.

Cody, every each and every time I read one of your blogs I can’t help but think that you are extremely clever. I completely understand the common point you are making throughout all of your blogs, but it is really nice to see the different ways you think up to express it.
