		<description>The experiment you described was very interesting, but biased in, my mind anyway, in that it only tested women that were able to form secure attachments.  As someone that has been diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder in childhood, and been unable to form secure attachments as an adult, my hypothesis is that I would find it additionally stressful to have another human being, friend or otherwise, in close proximity when facing the possibility of pain.  Just another perspective.</description>
