Could this web site please provide information about complex PTSD not associated with military endeavors but caused by years of emotional, physical and sexual abuse by parents? I would like to see the topic given more light than currently i.e. what are the symptoms and behaviors, what are the treatment options, what books are available to help, etc...

Warmest greetings, I am a psychiatric social worker and a past Menninger staff currently working worldwide in decentralized care for service members and dependents in under served areas. I wanted to take a moment to recognize those who are not coming home to the US but instead are being assigned to remote duty both down range and in sustainment roles. These individual also need advocacy, intervention and support.
